The University of Texas at El Paso is pleased to host Baja SAE UTEP 2014 on April 24-27, 2014.

Baja SAE consists of three regional competitions that simulate real world engineering design projects and their related challenges. Engineering students are tasked to design and build an off-road vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain.

The University of Texas at El Paso has a long tradition of hosting Baja SAE competitions since the early 90’s, with its last competition in 1998. It is an honor for UTEP to host Baja SAE once again after 16 years. El Paso de Norte region and its unique landscape make this area a prime location for a Baja event. There is no better time to bring this international competition back to El Paso Texas than for the Centennial Celebration of one of the best institutions in the nation––UTEP.

We look forward to having you in our Baja SAE 2014 competition.
